Actually, I think this announcement just frees Sidney up to say what she wants and not have to worry about how it reflects on the Trump people. She may be going at this corruption from a different angle - God bless her in her effort for save the country.
Agree with the following qualifications
She appeared with the “others” art the press conference so the “PR optics” say she is on the Trump Team ! Whatever she says or does will effect them & vice versa.
Also her being “separate” gives he the opportunity to continue the fight even if Trump loses. Though I don’t see how she does it in federal court no federal prosecutor will be allowed to take up the case. I suppose she could continue a sort of legal “guerilla war” through state criminal and civil courts.
