Trump's one failing in his first term was that he could have cleaned house- hell, as events have proven, he SHOULD have- but for reasons known only to him, he didn't.
How much of this crap would we have been saved from if he had?

After eight long years of the Kenyanesian Usurper he absolutely should have cleaned house, but many true believers were burrowed into the civil service during that time, limiting the cleaning out that could be done.
He should have gotten rid of everyone he could.
One of the problems was the people recommending people to him could not be trusted either.
