Johnson can distract from the realities of his authoritarian regime imposed in name of fighting the coronavirus.
Boris doesn’t want to impose authoritarianism but he is coming under pressure to do it from within his own party and every opposition party plus millions of Karens amongst the public who threaten to destroy his electabilith if the death toll goes up.
It isnt great but it I’d better to have this imposed by someone who hates having to do it and will repeal it as soon as the need has gone, Labour 2ould keep it in place forever because they love control.
