President Trump on Friday discussed naming Sidney Powell, who as a lawyer for his campaign team unleashed conspiracy theories about a Venezuelan plot to rig voting machines in the United States, to be a special counsel overseeing an investigation of voter fraud, according to two people briefed on the discussion.
It was unclear if Mr. Trump will move ahead with such a plan.
Most of his advisers opposed the idea, two of the people briefed on the discussion said, including Rudolph W. Giuliani, the president’s personal lawyer. In recent days Mr. Giuliani has sought to have the Department of Homeland Security join the campaign’s efforts to overturn Mr. Trump’s loss in the election.

I really had expected that this would have been done already. Since it has not been done I presumed the holdup was AG Barr (I do not think POTUS can name a SC directly.)
Alternatively, DJT could make Powell AG and she could appoint someone SC - or some combination thereof. Despite the vicious lying attacks on Prez Trump for four years, he has been painfully slow to respond with documentary evidence to punish his adversaries. We see the result: losing on almost every front BUT promises of retribution.
In a few short weeks the only retribution possible will be the Marxist Left marching DJT in to prison, possibly with a death penalty for genocide, and marching the rest of us into camps. Promises of action are wearing uncomfortably thin.
I sent Prez Trump a msg today to act soonest (Russiagate, Ukraine, Biden, election fraud) or prepare us for the worst - so we can be ready.
