You wanted to be the president so bad that you ran three times — in 1988, 2008 and 2020. Along the way, you sold your soul to the devil (or at least to the Chinese) and though you barely missed it, now the payment is coming due. You don’t know all the details, but that song by Charlie Daniels keeps playing on a loop whenever you look in a mirror — “The devil went down to Georgia,/ He was lookin’ for an election to steal/ He was in a bind ’cause he was way behind/ And he was willing to make a deal.”
Power. Fame. Money. You already had all those. You were a senator for 30-plus years. But you wanted more — much more — and then you hit the jackpot. My guess is they will let him serve 2 years and one day, thus allowing the ineligible Three Nationality Harris to run for two full terms of usurpation, since we are still paying some lip service to the defunct Constitution.

He will sign whatever his handlers put in front of him, he will occasionally appear on TV to make some speech one of his minders wrote, or to answer a few questions from friendly propagandists. If he shows any sign of having any policy ideas of his own, he will likely come down with Covid suddenly and have to resign so Willie Brown’s ho can be the puppet instead.

They might string this out, with minimum appearances after summer of 2021, and no travel at all. I personally can’t imagine how the news media networks can operate in such a vacuum without chatter each day, and depending upon Pelosi, Shumer, and Harris.
Bigger issue is how he does the State of the Union speech for 2021 or 2022. If he fumbles the 2021 episode badly...the pace would quicken to get him out by the end of the year. They can ‘lid’ the guy with extra sleep and suped-up drugs...so he wakes up at 6 PM, gets dressed, and just delivers the speech correctly.

I started a “how long will he serve” pool among several friends. My guess is 22 months. He will stagger through the 2022 midterms then resign. That way he wont upset the midterms and allow Camela to run as a seasoned incumbent in 2024,
