President Donald Trump said on Monday that he hopes Vice President Mike Pence will do more than just carry out a ceremonial role during the joint session of Congress to count Electoral College votes on Jan. 6.
“I hope Mike Pence comes through for us. I hope our great vice president comes through for us. He’s a great guy. Of course, if he doesn’t come through, I won’t like him very much,” Trump told a crowd at a rally in Georgia.
The president traveled to the Peach State to campaign for two Republican candidates—Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) and David Perdue—before a tight runoff election that will determine the majority in the Senate for the next two years.

In a separate campaign event in Georgia on Monday, Pence told a crowd that he promises Trump and Republicans will “have our day in Congress.”
“We’ll hear the objections. We’ll hear the evidence,” Pence said without elaborating on the role he plans to play.
Trump campaign legal adviser Jenna Ellis has suggested that Pence could delay the certification of the Electoral College votes and ask the legislatures in the six contested states to determine which slate of electors should be selected.

I hope and pray that Trump already knows that Mike Pence will come through for us. I hope he is just saying this to sow a note of uncertainty among the enemy.
If in fact Mike Pence has not told Trump that he will throw out the fraudulent EC votes, then we are so so screwed.
Mike Pence is a man of faith who takes his oath of office very seriously. He’ll do what’s right.

He said Rs will be heard. Yeah, in the 2 hour meeting and then they will need a simple majority which will not happen in the house...nor, likely, the senate.
If Pence has the power to let the state legislatures decide, he better find some strength and faith fast.

Pence will get advice from his BFF, Paul Ryan, then do what “he” thinks is right.
Pence, like Ryan, has been a deep state traitor for a loooong time.

Hope’s not a strategy. Part of me is convinced that had this entire enterprise not be allowed to continue to the point it has reached, with the NDAA monstrosity and the COVID relief act travesty and the in-your-face fraud that somehow cannot be examined and adjudicated either prior to or after the election because of dainty deadlines that must be honored - we wouldn’t see the depth and breadth of it.
We wouldn’t see how completely corrupt it all is, and why it justifies what Trump actually has planned.
But you’ve got to admit to yourself, it EVERYTHING is corrupt, what is there left to clean it all up?
All you can do, before the shooting starts, is pray. I feel like the way my parents must have felt during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

The FLeepers are hoping and praying that Mike Pence folds because they so need something to make themselves feel relevant. Only losers and rank traitors vote against their own team. Oh, excuse me, they were never on the right team.
“Hearing” two hours in a deal with Nan and Kev is the sort of punk move Pence would pull before trying to flush away the legitimate electoral victory of the nearly 80 million patriots who voted for him.
He’d be first in line for the Kennedy family’s “Profile in Courage” award next year.

No one knows what Pence is going to do tomorrow. He seems to be playing his cards close to the vest.
On the one hand, some posters have brought up very valid concerns regarding past lack of strong action.
On the other hand, other posters have pointed out that he’s a man of principle, who would likely be a shoo-in for the 2024 nomination if he comes through tomorrow.
Pence isn’t perfect. However, I do tend to believe that Pres. Trump, over the course of 4 years, would have discovered it if Pence was a back-stabbing snake, and would have either gotten rid of him, or at the very least kicked him off the 2020 ticket.
We’ll see what happens tomorrow.
There is nothing like forcing a public litmus test to see what he’s made of.
Pence was AWOL again last night. He’s shown no fight at all these past two months. He’s used none of his mainline GOP establishment cred in support of the rule of law. Shocking, really, since he was on the ballot with Trump.
Yet still his fan club cheers him on. This behavior is exactly why the GOP will never reform in a conservative manner. Why should they? They can have their cake (piles of chicom cash) and base “conservative” votes, too.
Coin toss... Pence has talked the right talk since he joined up with Trump. He takes everything he says, very seriously, and doesn’t say anything that hasn’t been thought out righteously. Too bad he looks like he’s been groomed for higher office since his first haircut.
