$600 vs $2000, it is a simple math. Voters are not as smart as you think. They care a lot about what they can get immediately. Especially in this time of hardship. GOP had to negate Dem’s move. Sticking to $600 is a bad move. That would even alienate some conservatives.

Exactly especially during a pandemic where people need legitimate help sending money to Pakistan and Nepal when 100 year old business are closing was about as stupid an idea as Mitch McConnell has ever had

It’s incomprehensible to me that the bleeding heart Republicans who are afraid of anything conservative, decided they just had to block the $2000 the president wanted.
