It’s time for Republicans to start planning to win again

I am growing tired of the self-flagellation among Republicans since the events on Capitol Hill on January 6. If Democrats, the establishment, and the media had accepted Mr. Trump's victory in 2016 instead of waging a 4-year campaign of obstruction and harassment, our country would not be nearly as divided.

Once Biden is sworn in, I hope Republicans are prepared to fight hard, lawfully, and peacefully to block what will be the most radically progressive agenda this country has ever seen. For example, as the Wall Street Journal reported,

[L]ast week House Democrats reintroduced as H.R.1 a voting and campaign-finance bill that would grease the Democratic voting machine nationwide and restrict political opposition. They also introduced a bill to provide statehood for the District of Columbia that would guarantee Democrats two new Senate seats.

What we need is to take control of the Republicans. How you might be asking...Join your town committee and take out the RINOs in your town. Join the state committee and do the same...The Uniparty is done if we join and remove the RINOs/Uniparty members!

These people think they can carry on -fooling the people as if the last 4 years didn’t happen? ha ha ha ha.

Until there are free and fair elections, it matters not which party wins. In either case, the People lose.

Right. That is the pessimistic view. That was the point I was trying to make about the snowball effect, picking up mass and momentum as time goes along, us weakening and losing our holdings and influence, them strengthening and consolidating their holdings and influence.

You know, as an opponent gets weaker, they get rolled up by ever stronger forces.

They will, instead of conforming the Republic’s rule of law to the Constitution, simply change the law and change the Constitution to suit their goals. I have no doubt, if given the chance, they will change the Constitution itself by turning the state legislatures into rubber stamps.

Okay, that is about all the pessimism I can take tonight, but...I completely see your point there.

“I expected better from the AT.”

Me, too. There must be something really nefarious afoot for them to cave. I consider them the one of the premier conservative sites on the Internet for conservative thought.

“They act as if THIS ELECTION wasn’t stolen...“

It wasn’t. It was given away.

They needed to get rid of TRUMP at all costs.

In their small minds, He’s gone and they can get back to corruption as usual. Only better - the democrats own EVERYTHING, so when the raping of the American taxpayers begins, we simpletons will blame it ALL on them.

Republicans still gain whenever we get soaked by democrats, you know..

And that is the problem. You and I are not the only ones who are thinking along these lines.

Even if it is only 15-20%, that is the end of any kind of electoral process.

The Left was frantic to get illegals into the voting process and was trying everything in the book to get blacks and other minorities not to vote Republican, and they failed.

Trump won by a landslide.

Trump doubled the percentage of black voters from 2016 who cast their vote for him, and that is why the Left pulled out all the stops.

They had nothing to lose if they got caught. And the Republicans were in on it.

Sure. Going forward, there are going to be tens of millions of people registered as Republicans who vote as Republicans, get their news from the Media, and make it look like a real election.

But there are going to be millions of Republicans who won’t vote, and that marks the end of our Republic.

And our freedom, what we had.

Bears repeating until we ALL get it:

“None of this was possible without GOP collaboration.

BOTH parties have been colluding against the citizens for decades.

Our last shot was electing President Trump.

They cheated him out with GOP cooperation”.

-notice I omitted the R.I.P.... they don’t deserve to Rest In Peace.
THEY destroyed our Representative Republic. They handed it right over so that THEY could get on with enriching themselves with DC corruption as usual, pre-Trump.

Sooooooo right!

We’ve been voting for the “lesser of two evils” for so long that our government is SATURATED- with evil, greater and lesser - it’s all still evil.

YEs, the GOP will be “lost” for a generation.

The socialists will consolidate their power. They will topple a few GOP leaders, like McConnell, just to demonstrate their electoral power.

They will flip Texas blue after Biden gives citizenship to tens of millions of illegals and opens our border to more.

"If that analysis is even ballpark correct, the Republican Party will not win again, especially with the Supreme Court packing, addition of DC and Puerto Rico, and changes to voting and immigration laws."

Well, it's a good thing that many of our smartest people obeyed the demands against voting in the Georgia runoff elections. The Democrats couldn't have taken the Supreme Court, added Democrat states and violated our Second Amendment rights without them. Same in regards to the campaigns of negativity before the general election along with the expressed fears of displaying bumper stickers, signs, etc.

I agree with Jones and Bracken on this matter and don't give a damn about small group popularity contests or groupthink.

And I hope to see a Trump rally near me in the near future, even if he endorses another Republican in his place. Within the next few weeks or months would be a good start.

LOL...yeah, right. Republicans planning to win. Ain’t gonna happen. They had the biggest chance to unite behind a winner in 100 years and almost all of them turned their backs on him for four years. Screw all of them!

I would predict the Media and Big Tech will pull a curtain over it if he does. The only place you will hear about it is FR.

I would like to see him do it just the same.

FWIW, I am one of those people who WOULD have voted in the second primary in GA.

I have always had to learn things the hard way, though, so I am probably not the best example.

Here’s a look at what’s going on in my head. If we lost a war for survival against a foreign nation, whose fault would it be? If someone fails to get a job, whose fault is it?

Catch my drift?
