"We've all experienced firsthand that police violence is police violence regardless (of which political party holds power). ... It doesn't make a difference to the person being beaten."
"For White people, maybe they feel there's time to let the administration work, but for Black and Indigenous people who have had a rope around their neck, there is no time," the protester said. "There's no justice, so there is no peace."
"I want to dispel that White anarchists are co-opting this for their own gain," said the 25-year-old protester, who is White and told CNN he's lived in Portland for most of his life. "There are Black and Indigenous people out there that can't have the same outward action as White people can."

I keep expecting these protests to keep going with crazier demands. Biden will then look like a more sensible alternative to a number of Americans...all while everything keeps moving more to the left.

I don’t have a clue how to mug someone , but I’m willing to take an online course to learn - just so I can fly out to Portland and mug the snot out of that white, 25-year-old, whiny social justice warrior/basement-dwelling loser.
They’re doing it because they’re indoctrinated by fanatic professors and the very fake news media. They keep on doing it because they get kid gloves treatment from local Demturd prosecutors. It is a reversion to tribal morality. Your dress code, the foods you eat, the opinions you can hold are all dependent on your group identity, your demographics. Violate these rules, and you can be beaten and potentially killed.
It is a reversion to primitive systems where violations of social rules are as severe as violating laws against rape and murder. Your hate speech is a literal act of violence against sacred social justice saviors, so they can threaten to kill you. Your words are an attack on all true believers, so they can kill the infidel. This is implicit in the statements “your silence is violence” and “your words invalidate our existence”. You’re not even allowed to silently disagree. You will pray their prayers in public or be killed as an infidel.
The punishment for these anarchist rioters should be to go back to school and get a proper STEM degree.

The problem with “rescuing” other people is that sometimes those people will let you get on with it and in the process learn a very hard lesson.
