The strategy is to poison the GOP to discourage hostile takeover. The last thing the GOp wants is the voice of the poeple to have power.

He doesn’t care. I think he is gripped with fear over something.
He is done anyway. He is over and now has a bad reputation which he deserves.

Mitch was just reelected to a 6 year term. He is 78 years old and will be 84 when he faces the voters again. Likely he planned to retire anyway.
The only recourse is for the party base in massive numbers to tell their GOP Senators they want Mitch replaced as minority leader. Unless Senators who do have long term aspirations are concerned about offending their voters, nothing will happen. Each one of us needs to be on the phone Monday with Senate offices and sending emails tonight.
Mitch has no fear of Kentucky voters.
