McConnell got the Senate he wants. He had so many opportunities in the last decade to build a solid majority but he squandered it chasing after sycophants who would kowtow to him personally, and he lost the momentum.
That's why, at this point, it doesn't make a difference if we sacrifice a few tactical seats to make the chances of rebuilding a conservative Senate stronger in the long run.
