Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci clashed over whether people need to continue wearing masks due to the CCP virus.
“You’re telling everyone to wear a mask,” Paul said. “If we’re not spreading the infection, isn’t it just theater? You have the vaccine and you’re wearing two masks, isn’t that theater?”
Fauci then accused Paul of engaging in “theater” and stated that emerging COVID-19 variants are a good reason “for a mask.”
“You’re making policy based on conjecture,” Paul said, saying that Fauci wants people to wear masks “for another couple of years.”
In recent weeks, Fauci has faced increasing criticism for making predictions about the virus that ultimately didn’t materialize while also repeatedly issuing warnings about the CCP virus spreading due to a relaxation in lockdowns.
“You’ve been vaccinated and you parade around in two masks for show,” Paul told Fauci. “If you already have immunity, you’re wearing a mask to give comfort to others. You’re not wearing a mask because of any science.”
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), individuals who have been vaccinated are advised to still wear a mask.
Fauci responded that “masks are not theater” and he “totally disagree[s]” with Paul’s statement.
In January, Paul said during a Fox News interview that people who have been vaccinated should discard their masks.
“If you’ve had the disease or you’ve been vaccinated and you’re several weeks out of your second dose, throw your mask away and tell Dr. Fauci to take a leap because, once you have immunity, you don’t need to do this,” the Kentucky Republican said at the time.
This week, Fauci suggested that three-feet distancing between schoolchildren, rather than six feet, could be good enough following a study that was published last week.
The CDC stated in updated guidance on March 8 that fully vaccinated people don’t have to wear a mask or physically distance themselves from others who are also fully vaccinated or those who are unvaccinated but “are at low risk for severe COVID-19 disease.”
“There are some activities that fully vaccinated people can begin to resume now in their own homes,” CDC Director Rochelle P. Walensky said in a press release.
“Taking steps towards relaxing certain measures for vaccinated persons may help improve COVID-19 vaccine acceptance and uptake.”

Hmm, Interesting as far as I have been able to find out there has still not been a verified case of transmission by an asymptomatic person, so unless you get the virus and have symptoms, you aren’t supposed to be able to transmit it.
With that said, My Daughter was sick when she gave it to me and I came home and gave it to my Wife, she became sick a week after me. I had almost no symptoms, minor head cold sort of, just a little off, but my Wife was real sick. So you can transmit the virus with very little symptoms.
until 1 year ago, it was accepted science, that because of the weak reaction I had, my body already knows the formula for Corona Virus’ and I am Immune, and now so is my family because we all had it. At least until a year ago that is.
I also think that everyone under 50 in fair Health should have COVID Parties so they can get it and be immune for life like I am. I have a friends with my same story .

The logic is simple... if you must be masked and social distance after being vaccinated then one of two things must be true: The vaccine is worthless or the reason for masking is other than for public health
If “social distancing” is effective why do we “need” masks?
If masks are effective why do we “need” “social distancing”?
If vaccines are effective why do we “need” either the above?

If Fauci needs a double mask after having had his COVID19 vaccine shots, perhaps he could tell us if he’s wearing a condom (or two) while fully clothed in order to reduce the possibility of contracting STDs.
Dr. Fauci seems certain that the design of the SARS-2-CoV virus, will periodically demand a vaccine response. The replicate [and mutate] and spread capability of the SARS-2-CoV virus, having durability in spite of mask plus vaccine response (in continuing, emergency development).
The double-standard of his theory, is that the mask plus vaccine strategy must be pursued to beat/contain the SARS-2-CoV virus (championed by the political left) . . . but at the same time, the SARS-2-CoV virus cannot be beat/contained - it can only be pitted in an endless running match.
Dr. Fauci seems to believe, that SARS-2-CoV is similar to HIV (AIDS), in that conundrum. In other words, “society” is stuck in/with another long war. (And, that rings a bell, re some comments by Dr. Fauci one year ago, when he mentioned a similarity.)
Dr. Fauci, in effect: “There is no way out.”
Now, if the endless running match must be pursued, the question is, do you want to continue the mask plus vaccine strategy?
More, do you want to order that strategy -or- do you want to leave it to each person, to decide on their own, their personal strategy.
Dr. Fauci seems to argue, that there must be ENFORCEMENT of mask plus vaccine, while also not daring to outright state his proposal: “There must be ENFORCEMENT.”
I prefer, that there NOT BE ENFORCEMENT; and, that wearing a mask and employing a vaccine, be voluntary by individual choice.

Footnote: Seems that, a factor that most enables the spread of the virus, is contained / stagnant air. And, in contrast, fresh air, some cross-flow, seems a major factor reducing the spread. Florida seems to be ideal, for that air conditioning.

There also appears to be a similarity between this virus “Legionaire’s Disease” (in the 70’s) which spread primarily through poorly circulated/filtered air in a Philadelphia hotel.
