LUBBOCK, Texas — For some COVID-19 patients, getting over their infection is just the beginning of the recovery. Over the last year, COVID “long haulers” have continued experiencing a variety of symptoms months after the virus clears. These include anything from skin problems, to shortness of breath, to losing the sense of taste or smell. Now, researchers say they may know why this is happening. A new study finds coronavirus actually causes long-term changes to an infected patient’s genes.
Specifically, scientists reveal the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2, the virus causing COVID-19, creates long-lasting changes to human gene expression. These tiny spikes cover the surface of coronavirus cells. They allow the virus to bind to certain receptors on human cells and hijack their functions — leading to COVID infection. Once the spike cuts into a patient’s cells, the virus releases its own genetic material into the cell so it can replicate.
“We found that exposure to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein alone was enough to change baseline gene expression in airway cells,” says Nicholas Evans, a master’s student at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, in a media release. “This suggests that symptoms seen in patients may initially result from the spike protein interacting with the cells directly.”

And inexplicably, the "vaccine" (mRNA) which really isn't, is a substance that alters the genes of people by DESIGN. The effects are already apparent and the long term effects are unknown but safe to say there is trouble ahead. We are living a scientific horror show. I am not a doubter to be contrarian nor am I a anti-vaxxer but I think we need to be very concerned about everything Covid.

Changing gene expression and changing genes are very different things.
I THINK that is true for the mRNA vaccines.
Maybe they just signal the cell to develop resistance to the spike and protein.
But there’s probably an expert on FR that will come along and edify both of us.
The scary thing is that it is the spike protein producing mRNA that is injected as a vaccine. This mRNA was specifically produced to be more stable than the naturally occurring version. MIT discovered that this means its more likely to transfer back into the cells DNA.

Interesting. I’ll file it away. Not sure what to do with this information except wonder why the spike proteins created by the vaccines don’t do the same thing. Answer my own question, it’s because the vaccine induced spike protein is not the virus.
I recall early on in the pandemic there was talk about the Covid-19 virus having some partial relationship or similarity to HIV. But didn’t get too down that rabbit hole.
This in a nutshell explains my concerns for the mRNA injection. It is why I am leaning towards the J&J vaccine if/when I get it. I am a going to wait for several more 10s of millions aren’t vaccinated first.

Yes, but the "spike protein" isn't floating around in your blood infecting cells, causing them to mutate. In very simple terms:
The mRNA enters a cell and instructs the cell to make a protein, in this case a protein just like the S, or Spike protein of the virus. This spike protein rises to the surface of the cell. Your immune system recognizes this cell as "infected" and attacks it. Just like dead or attenuated virus vaccines, the spike protein isn't multiplying and spreading, it's just sitting there on a cell, waiting to be destroyed. The body can only make as many spike protein particles as there are mRNA nanoparticles in the vaccine dose.
So, Just thinking, if it alters DNA, it was probably engineered. Uh OH Dr. Fauci, Please pick up the RED Courtesy Phone…..
I am with you. I’m not an anti-vaxxer. Shoot, I was in the Army. All my kids are up to date on all their vaccines.
I am concerned about this thing though. Personally, I don’t get the flu shot, I won’t get this vaccine either. I don’t need it.
