The judge seems oddly sane. What’s he doing in NY?
One thing NYC understands is identity politics. This judge takes note of the fact there are lots of Jewish votes in the city and that is the only reason he went vs state law and required bail. Although his motivation may have been political, I’ll take it and praise him for setting high bail on this creep.
Just enforce the laws you want depending on identity politics.
