Islam is being hollowed out by younger generations who are exposed to the Internet and some very effective polemics that are widely available.

Many young Muslims, in the west particularly, are just going through the motions of being Islamic, pretending, in order to satisfy their parents or broader community.

Muslim leaders throughout the World are well aware of this.

There are huge peer pressures on Muslims to remain in the faith and that includes Death for Blasphemy and Apostasy.

It’s literally a CULT.

I generally agree with your assessment of the “Rules of Engagement for the Next World War”

I also believe that there will be an interim period in which the Left in the West, the Marxist, will align with the Islamists against their common enemy which is US.

That is evidently not true everywhere. Study after study has shown than children of Muslim immigrants are, in general, MORE radical than their parents. Here’s one such study out of France:
