Israel on Monday rejected “serious concerns” expressed by the United States over violent clashes in Jerusalem between police and Palestinian rioters.
A day earlier, the White House issued a statement saying that National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan had spoken by phone with Israeli National Security Advisor Meir Ben-Shabbat “to express the United States’ serious concerns about the situation in Jerusalem, including violent confrontations at the Haram al-Sharif/Temple Mount during the last days of Ramadan.”
In an implicit rebuke of Sullivan, Ben-Shabbat said: “Israel manages the events in Jerusalem from a sovereign position, with responsibility and discretion – despite the provocations.”
The clashes in the capital came in response to the planned evictions of Palestinian families from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in eastern Jerusalem as well as a temporary closure of the Damascus Gate in the Old City.
Rioters hurled stones and Molotov cocktails at Israeli police officers, who responded with stun grenades and rubber bullets.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the cabinet on Sunday that Israel “will not allow any extremists to destabilize the calm in Jerusalem. We will enforce law and order decisively and I’ll responsibly.”
“We will continue to maintain freedom of worship for all faiths, but we will not allow violent disturbances,” he said. However, addressing the Sheikh Jarrah protests, he added, “We emphatically reject the pressures not to build in Jerusalem.”

The timing is interesting. Nothing like this occurred during the Trump admin. Our enemies see weakness and are stirring up trouble again.
It only promotes, encourages Muslim terrorist attacks and violence for an American spokesman to imply blame for the christian and Jewish victims. Which violence is exactly what the controllers of the Biden/Harris regime want.
America now tolerates violence and arson in many of it's urban areas. This should come as no surprise.

Israel considered Trump as the most pro-Israel President in U.S. History.
And he was.
But, I sensed a reticence from Israel that I can fully understand. American politics swings so drastically that I don’t know how anyone could invest much while the likelyhood is always that the next President would be a polar opposite.
I feel bad for Israel with the current illegitimate President in office. Israel is almost all alone in a sea of enemies.
