As Israel suffers under a continuous heavy rocket barrage, footage coming out of the Holy Land is giving the world a look at the horrors Hamas rains down on innocent civilians.
Thankfully, the footage also shows the country's Iron Dome systems coming to life, countering the terrifying missile swarms with precision-guided munitions.
The onslaught started Monday, with hundreds of rockets raining down on civilian areas.
"The terrorist groups in Gaza crossed a red line on the eve of Jerusalem Day, a red line, and attacked us with rockets on the outskirts of Jerusalem," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said of the ongoing attacks.
Footage out of Israel shows the rockets falling from the sky before spots of light -- missiles fired by Iron Dome systems -- rush up to meet them.

So where is the UN condemning the “Palestinians” for firing missiles at civilian targets. They will probably end up blaming Israel for killing helpless missiles or just not say a word.
Really incredible technology that actually saves lives on both sides. If those 700+ rockets did get past the Iron Dome, there would be many more Israeli civilian casualties which would then require a heavy handed response resulting in Palestinian casualties.
It’s not really a weapon of war, it is a weapon that prevents wars.
The ordinance coming from the right appears to be AAA, and the explosions AAA denotations. The AAA appears to be effective, at least in killing the rocket motors, but I wonder if it’s cost effective at the margin.
Best thing is just kill their leaders, every damned one of them. Election to high office in Gaza needs to be a death sentence.

Was wondering why Israel can’t keep an AC130 on station above Gaza and engage immediately with 30mm cannon fire at the first rocket plume during launch...destroy the remainder on the ground and the personnel associated with them...

Pretty incredible footage. The Iron Dome system is doing an amazing job keeping civilians safe. Hopefully the Palestinian people witness this and realize the futility of war against Israel and finally bring Hamas down so real peace talks can begin.
Peace cannot exist so long as the Palestinian people have leaders that want to exterminate Israelis. The only way this ends is with the Palestinian people waking up to the fact that their lives will only improve when they police the terrorists in their midst and effect security for the Israeli people.

Israel looks like Southern California (the good parts anyway) and Gaza/West Bank looks pretty much like any other Third World dump, even without warfare.
I see Hamas and any of those supporting them as just one of Islams military arms. I make no distinctions between Hamas, Isis, Taliban and the rest like them. They are all drugged up on Islam and are the mindless filth of the earth.
