All that is true, but there is nothing wrong with renting. Too many people who should rent think they have to buy a house. A house is a money pit, and most people go into it with no clue what the costs of maintenance and taxes are going to be.
I do believe I have half a million in Blackrock. Don’t know the details but it’s making money so what do i know? I know nothing!
“You will own nothing and be Happy” Klaus Schwab. The Great Reset
You have that right. So many never think about the costs.
I own two houses in Hawaii. Money pits, no. Pot to pi$$ in yes and I don’t have to pay for A/C or heating.
When you’re renting, who in the end pays the taxes and maintenance? Kinda like raising taxes on Ford, the buyers of next year’s Fords pay the new tax.
I’ll say. When I move to Florida, if Blechhrock and others have priced me out of the housing market down there, I’m not sure how much I’ll mind. Renting comes with amenities, if you’re a savvy renter.
But I still don’t like this conspiracy at all. For those who have the time and money to put into it, homeowning can be great.
The problem with renting is that the prices have gone up with the price of real estate. Instead of paying $1200 you pay $2000 so you have to get a roommate or live in a worse neighborhood.
I’m thinking also is that they made a deal with the social engineers so that you have no control over the deliberate diversification of your neighborhood. They will rent you an apartment for $2000 a month and surround you different ethnicities and all levels of criminality and Section 8 recipients who may have government subsidies.
But if you rent, you are at the mercy of your landlord when it comes to what they charge you for living there.
All that is true, but there is nothing wrong with renting. Too many people who should rent think they have to buy a house.
You will own nothing, and, you will be happy.

And those costs just get passed on to the renter.
We rent, mostly because we move a lot. I always tell people, if you think you own property, stop paying taxes. The American dream scheme was just building a tax base. Nothing more.
