Austin is another liberal town that hates cops. Bet they’re glad to see them now.
It’s not Portland-bad yet. But the Austin City Council is trying hard.
Voters reinstated the camping ban but, as you might expect, the Council are dragging their feet on taking action to clean up the vagrancy, “aggressive panhandling,” and associated criminality.
They’ll probably clean up downtown while making the suburbs bear the brunt of the problem.

“The study found that Austin ranks as the second-best place to be a liberal and is the only Texas city to make the list. Seattle came in at No.1.”
IN FACT, there were some people across the neighborhood just down from us who were anti-cops, mainly because the cops had arrested their sorry @$$e$ before. Then they NEEDED the cops to come and get another bunch of bad guys off their @$$e$ and they were calling 9-1-1 yelling for help, get the COPS here ASAP because we are being attacked and shot at. YUP, THEN THEY NEEDED THOSE DREADED, HATEFUL, RACIST COPS!!!
Recently my wife and I went down to the pizza shop, purchased several pizzas and took them to our local police department and took them in to the desk sergeant and said here is lunch. They were really surprised and without words!! They kept looking at the pizzas and then at us and back and forth at each other, just saying thank you, thank you. They were TOTALLY surprised!!! I told them thank you for protecting us.
Almost nothing good happens in public after 1:00 am.
People that think the cops should be defunded should take a look at this video. This guy got fired from the Wal-Mart distribution center, came back, and decided to shoot up the place.
