A black surgeon I knew told me that the some blacks had a social hierarchy based on the shade of their skin. The ones lighter than the proverbial brown paper bag were the elites according to him. The darker ones were considered of lower social standing. He, of course, thought it was a very stupid idea.
Arabs have that. The lighter the skin, the more respected they are. those with heavy African features are treated the worst.
Oh that’s well known. Been hearing that for years.
