The United States military has carried out a drone strike against an alleged ISIS-K "planner" following a suicide bombing in Kabul that killed 13 American soldiers and at least 70 Afghans.
"U.S. military forces conducted an over-the-horizon counterterrorism operation today against an ISIS-K planner," U.S. Central Command Spokesman Captain Bill Urban told Fox News on Friday. "The unmanned airstrike occurred in the Nangarhar Province of Afghanistan. Initial indications are that we killed the target. We know of no civilian casualties."

Then as a parting gift, carpet bomb the Karzai Airport, the Baghram Airport, and every bridge and mountain pass road with B-52's for the entire month of September.
But is anybody else asking the question, why didn't they do this BEFORE the attack on the Kabul airport?
Too little but especially TOO LATE to save those Marines and people killed the attack.
We should be picking these ISIS (and Taliban) terrorists off a regular basis.

Just like a couple hours after every mass shooting we somehow know the entire life history of the shooter including peple he dated and worked with.
The Taliban could close/destroy the airport's one runway pretty easily. No airplane could land or take off. If that happens, is there a survivable overland route or will there be a repeat of Britain's 19th century retreat from Kabul massacre?

The Soviets left by land. We could as well go to Pakistan if forced or head to Bagram 25 miles north of Kabul and reopen the airfield.
We have thousands of American military there now, surrounded by thousands of maniacs with terrorists interspersed here and there. It can get so much worse.

Why aren’t we doing drone strrikes on the Blackhawks, airplanes and other storage depots. 600,000 rifles alone is a pretty good pile to strike.
