President Joe Biden on Thursday slammed the 80 million Americans who have yet to get a COVD vaccine shot, asking them 'what more is there to wait for.'
'This is not about freedom or personal choice. It's about protecting yourself and those around you, the people you work with, the people you care about, the people you love. My job as president is to protect all Americans,' he said in remarks in the State Dining Room at the White House.
'We've been patient but our patience is wearing thin. And your refusal has cost all of us. So please do the right thing,' he said.
He charged the unvaccinated with 'overcrowding our hospitals and overrunning emergency rooms intensive care units, leaving no room for someone with a heart attack or pancreatic cancer.'
The president decried the 'pandemic politics' that he said was behind those who had not yet gotten a shot in the arm, calling out public officials who were 'actively working to undermine the fight against COVID-19.'
'These pandemic politics, as I refer to, are making people sick, causing unvaccinated people to die. We cannot allow these actions to stand in the way of protecting the large majority of Americans who have done their part and want to get back to life as normal,' he said.
He ended his nearly 30 minute speech with a whispered plea: 'Get vaccinated.'
'My message to unvaccinated Americans is this - what more is there to wait for?,' Biden said. 'What more to you need to see? We've made vaccinations free, safe, and convenient. The vaccine has FDA approval. Over 200 million Americans have gotten at least one shot.'

The lease where I work in NJ is expiring at the end of this year, so my employer is transferring the entire dept to their office in NYC at the beginning of October. I'm not currently vaccinated, but was considering getting the jabs since I'll be taking public transportation and working in the shithole that is Manhattan.
After SloJoe's latest proclamations, getting one of the current vaccines is now a line that I will not cross.

The vaxxed can catch it, carry it, shed it, and not show a symptom for a week.
The unvaxxed catch it, get sick, and stay home.
The CDC says that the PCR test cannot distinguish between flu and COVID so we will never know who had it.
The only thing that cost us all was that the government chose bad metrics, bad responses, and then denied us effective treatments in favor of a shot that does not work very well.

For me, the difference is that the technique used for making the Novavax has been around much longer and can be considered a “conventional” approach, while the mRNA vaccines are too damn experimental. I think that long-term, not getting any vaccine at all isn’t going to fly — but if I have to get one, I want to get one made via a process that has a proven track record.

My son has just been asked by his hr if he has had the vax. He is not sure what to do next. He has a good job. Worked every day during covid in the facility. They even gave him papers so he could get to travel to work in the begining of this mess.
He doesn’t want to vax. I think it is his choice but what choice do you have. Vax or get canned.

THAT allegation — the predicate to this debacle — cannot be proved, much less proved beyond reasonable doubt. There exist no provably harmed parties, and absolutely not enough to support this draconian action.
