A friend of Kyle Rittenhouse, who fatally shot two people during Black Lives Matter protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin last year, testified that the teenager was "freaking out" after the shooting.
Dominick Black said in court Tuesday that then-17-year-old Rittenhouse was pale and "really scared" after he fired shots at an Aug. 2020 protest that followed the police-involved shooting of Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old Black man. Black added that Rittenhouse said he had to shoot them because "people were trying to hurt him," according to The Associated Press.

So the prosecution’s first witness testified that Rittenhouse carried the rifle because he thought it would prevent confrontations, shot rioters who were attacking him in self defense, and was anguished at shooting someone. This helps the prosecution’s first degree murder case how exactly?
Just look at him in the video, in the immediate aftermath. He looks dazed as he walks away.
His life is going to be Hell for the next 5-10 years.
Can’t be any worse than it is right now being wrongfully prosecuted for defending himself. If anything, he’ll be a Senator. He’ll be known as the 21st century “Man who shot Liberty Valance!”

The judge was red-hot angry at the prosecution's attempt to introduce hearsay with inflammatory descriptions including "militia." In his 38 years on the bench, the judge has never seen anything like it, he said.
Is the prosecution done?
This kid is innocent because of self defense, but with that being said, what the hell was he doing there? 17 years old, he had no business there.
I'm sure he was really scared before he fired the shots. That's why he had to shoot. He was afraid for his life. Is this a defense witness already? Sure sounds like it.

I don’t know. I really don’t want to watch too hard mainly because I want to see Kyle walk. I haven’t followed the case. The media is dumping on Rittenhouse harder than Sandman. No comparison except Rittehouse doesn’t fir the George Floyd mold.

I don’t know if Rittenhouse was “freaking out,” but I’ve been in situations where you were coming off an adrenaline rush afterwards, and needed some space.
