To find Travis and the others guilty of murder under those conditions was an evil thing to do. Yet most of the country, on both sides of the political spectrum, made up their minds based on ignorance, media misrepresentations, or political expediency, and don't give a damn.
I agree. When someone has a gun and telling you to stay put until the cops arrive, the last thing I'd do is charge the person with the gun and attempt to disarm them. I just don't see the typical "Jogger" doing that. Nope, not happening.
What the decedent did was pretty close to suicide from my perspective. And he ended up predictably dead for that action.
