Chris Wallace raises the IQ level of two networks: From top-ranked Fox News over to bottom-ranked CNN certainly seems like a self-demotion

It looks as though the CNN plan to make itself less of a less of a joke by replacing its circus clowns is moving into action.  The network has new owners and has signaled that it intends to return to a straight news organization as it once was, back when it was popular.  Here's their first affirmation of it.

According to Fox News:

"Fox News Sunday" anchor Chris Wallace announced his resignation from Fox News after 18 years on Sunday and teased "a new adventure."

"After 18 years — this is my final Fox News Sunday," Wallace said on his final airing Sunday. "It is the last time — and I say this with real sadness — we will meet like this."

"Eighteen years ago, the bosses here at Fox promised me they would never interfere with a guest I booked or a question I asked. And they kept that promise. I have been free to report to the best of my ability, to cover the stories I think are important, to hold our country's leaders to account. It's been a great ride."

"We've covered five presidential elections, interviewed every president since George H.W. Bush, traveled the world — sitting down with France's Emmanuel Macron and Russia's Vladimir Putin," he added. "And I've gotten to spend Sunday mornings with you."

"It may sound corny, but I feel we've built a community here," he continued. "There's a lot you can do on Sundays. The fact you've chosen to spend this hour with us is something I cherish. But after 18 years, I have decided to leave Fox. I want to try something new, to go beyond politics to all the things I'm interested in. I'm ready for a new adventure. "

If one is hired by CNN, there is a 99.99999% chance that the company IQ will be raised. This is a conclusion obvious to even the less than casual observer.

I want to try something new, to go beyond politics to Far Left Wing politics, maybe even go to Fascistic Marxism.

What a freakin' Democrat Liar!

Everything Chris has done has been tinged with or fully immersed in "politics".

What a disgusting Human Being he is!

A turd, placed on the CNN anchor desk with the right lighting, would raise CNN’s IQ.

A DNC mouthpiece requires little IQ. A caveman could do it.

Had to watch him moderating the presidential debate but otherwise I never watch him. I notice that he was rarely a guest on the main Fox talk shows.

Mike Wallace may have been slightly more open-minded that Chris.

Liberals eventually seek the safety of other liberals, where they will be stroked and told how advanced they are for being in the club.

‘Chris Will Be Missed’: Republicans Weigh in on Chris Wallace Quitting Fox for CNN

EXCERPTS

“Chris will be missed,” South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham wrote on Twitter. “He should be proud of what he and his team have accomplished at Fox News Sunday.”

(snip)

In another tweet, Graham said that he was “shocked” to know about Wallace’s departure from the network.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the show,” he said on Sunday. “Chris challenged everyone fairly and tried to give his viewers the best information to evaluate issues.”

Meanwhile, Senator Mitt Romney, a Utah Republican, expressed his gratitude for Wallace’s “years of truth & honesty.”

“I trust that what’s in store for you will be rewarding & impactful but even if not, you’ve already served with uncommon grace & generosity of spirit,” he wrote on Twitter. “You kindled the passion of your dad & took it to even greater heights.”

CNN was just marrying up. Chris was seeking his own level, and is still floundering.

Chris might drown before this is settled.

Now that Wallace is at CNN, I look forward to watching him moderate Presidential debates with Democrats, since they were so public about avoiding debates on the Fox News Channel.

Let's see how Wallace's notorious "zinger" approach plays out on the liberal network.
