"Most patients I’ve seen that had 2 doses of Pfizer/Moderna still had ‘mild’ symptoms, but more than those who had received a third dose. More fatigued. More fever. More coughing. A little more miserable overall. But no shortness of breath. No difficulty breathing. Mostly fine," he said.
For those who just had the one shot of the J&J vaccine and never took a booster, the situation isn't as good.
"Most patients I’ve seen that had one dose of J&J and had Covid were worse overall. Felt horrible. Fever for a few days (or more). Weak, tired. Some shortness of breath and cough. But not one needing hospitalization. Not one needing oxygen. Not great. But not life-threatening," he tweeted.
And then there are the unvaccinated, who by all data are being hospitalized at a rate 15x or more the vaccinated.
"And almost every single patient that I’ve taken care of that needed to be admitted for Covid has been unvaccinated. Every one with profound shortness of breath. Every one whose oxygen dropped when they walked. Every one needing oxygen to breath regularly," he said.
Spencer's recommendations were straightforward -- get vaccinated if you haven't, get a second dose of something else if you've had one J&J shot, and if you're eligible, get a booster.

My son had a bad case of COVID in April. He now has COVID again. Presumably Omicron. It’s like a nasty cold so far.

You don't want to get the vax, fine. Nobody cares. But for you to call a doctor a liar because he's telling his own experiences is just silly nonsense.
So the government media is now doing the job of peer review?
People fall for media lies all the time.
There are so many lies now that the only reliable studies will be age adjusted analysis of all cause mortality for those that were injected and those that were not,
This is why we have peer review. Because even doctors lie. In fact, We’ve seen quite a few do it lately.
Even then, a lot of the medical journals are corrupt and those getting grants to do studies for the government don’t like to bite the hand that feeds them.
Come on, don’t be so damned naive.
Extra doses of Remdesivir and a ventilator for the unvaccinated does wonders for the stats. Make the outcome fit the narrative.

He’s only dealing with those who went to the hospital.
It proves nothing because he has no idea what’s going on with those who haven’t gone to the hospital.

This Dr sees lots of patients and I don’t doubt the article. My wife is an RN and works with vented covid patients daily and this is her exact experience. The unnvaxxed are the vast majority of her patients. She said it would be less cruel to stand a person in front of a firing squad than put them on a vent.

The study compared post-vaccination infection, hospitalization, and death rates between those with and without compromised immune systems. It did not compare these rates between the vaccinated and unvaccinated among those with compromised immune systems.
Please show me where this doctor says that his personal anecdotal observations are anything nut personal anecdotal observations. Of course the data will be reviewed. But having an ER doctor tells us what he is seeing does NOT warrant calling him a liar simply because it’s not what some guy behind his keyboard wants to hear. I don’t care if anyone gets the vaccine. I was forced to get it and I’m not happy about it, but calling someone a liar because they say something you don’t agree with is absolute nonsense.
