The extent to which people help each other out in North Idaho is truly wonderful. People are all the time thanking others for helping them with chores, removing snow, getting their cars unstuck, buying them coffee at the kiosks. The local supermarkets bag up groceries for the needy and you can buy the bag for $20. I frequently do that when I’m shopping — you just pay for the bag and they set it aside for their assistance to the community. There’s so much community spirit there!

I live in Central NH, a young lady was in the 12 or less at the Local Market Basket. She had just a one item, so we all passed her through a rather long line to check out.

I have also seen people help people who were a couple of bucks short make their payment. As an EX Idaho guy it ain’t only there.

The father of a local family died suddenly a day after he cut 10 acres of hay. Neighbors baled the hay and put it up so the family could deal with one less problem.

Out in Iowa a few years ago someone torched a combine and grain cart because the farmer flew a Trump flag on it.
Neighbors got together and harvested hundreds of acres of the man’s grain.
