Correct me if I am wrong, but there seem some small "cast of characters" who appear together on one thread to support one another -- most often about "safe and effective" messaging -- and are nowhere to be found on others. Do you find this too?

I find this to be true. I suspect they have a private ping list, and wouldn't be surprised to discover they are paid for their efforts. I suspect this because the comments by each poster are very repetitive in content, as if each was assigned a specific general attitude to promote. One claims to be a doctor, another expresses pride over his vax card, another laughs at the content without explaining why, another taunts people for being afraid of needles, another repeats how many shots have been given, another posts CDC data as gospel, etc., etc.

This sort of thing has happened in the past, but with heated primaries. You soon learn to ignore these folks so you don't get bored to death by them.

“You soon learn to ignore these folks so you don’t get bored to death by them.”

Rather than ignoring them, their proclivities related to their commenting and non-commenting should be pointed out to them.

Excellent observation and apt description.
