Ten Republican senators say “boom in oil sales has refilled the Iranian regime’s coffers, removed crucial American leverage over Iran”

A group of U.S. senators are concerned that Iranian exports of oil slipping through the cracks of American sanctions are enhancing Tehran’s ability to finance terrorism and gain nuclear capabilities – and placing national security at risk.

The 10 Republicans sent a letter to U.S. President Joe Biden last week urging action “against entities that purchase Iranian oil and against those foreign-flagged oil tankers which keep Iran’s illicit oil trade alive.”

“The boom in oil sales has refilled the Iranian regime’s once-empty coffers, removed crucial American leverage over Iran, and encouraged the Iranians to stall negotiations in Vienna and irreversibly advance their pursuit of a nuclear weapon,” they wrote.

They assume that Biden’s handlers will see funding Iran as a bad thing.

The only thing Biden cares about is getting more money for The Biden Crime Family.

Add this to the mix, from OilPrice.com:

Tuesday, February 01, 2022

As we have indicated previously, insufficient OPEC+ production combined with a string of supply disruptions across the globe have led to the most bullish market in 8 years, with month-on-month backwardation wider than $1 per barrel throughout most of 2022. For every WTI short position, there were 13 long positions on futures contracts in the week to 25 January, indicating that the anticipation is of further tightness down the line. Soaring long positions also attest to the market’s belief in robust demand going forward - if anything, easing mobility restrictions in several European countries point towards Omicron concerns weakening overall, despite cases hitting all-time records.

OPEC+ stayed with it’s plan to raise production by 400k barrels a day. The problem is, some OPEC countries couldn’t produce their quotas during the prior period so it’s unlikely they’ll make the new slightly higher production figures.

I would be very surprised if Biden punished China over any issue.

Biden will tell the senators that he’ll check into it and someone will get back to them in 2075.

If Iran supports global terrorism and China supports Iran, why doesn’t the US slap sanctions on China?

None of the allies would support sanctioning China ....Europe is very much seeking continued co-operation with China.....and they certainly aren’t relying on Biden to be decisive on anything.

I think most of us have known the time would come where the US influences abroad would become less and weakened.....so that what we seeing happening now between Europe , Russia, China...and the M. East would develop and focus on those relationships. Good or bad.

Joe’s answer: “OK, then we’ll send them $10 or $15 billion so they don’t have to bother with that gooey, messy oil stuff. Then they’ll be our friends. I’ll check with Valerie, but I’m sure she’d like this approach”

Iran knows very well it fairs much better with the Demorats in office. hey were willing to stand by and wait until Trump was out....in fact even with rump in office they were meeting with Kerry and others in the Obama administration....they really never actually left ....they continued to operate on the world stage until back in office. We know this for a fact.

From the night of the election until now we’ve watched the left orchestrate this entire Presidency scam without any concerns of how they planned and carried it out in what the publics response would be or is....and they still don’t care. he ONLY thing they care about is continuing to keep their power and making certain they can sustain that forever.

That’s the deepstate plan.
