Right because expecting to have a method to verify a vote is actually valid is so oppressive.

Who can’t list the last 4 of a social sec number? Such a dishonest argument to make.

Vote only on Tuesday in November-—IN PERSON

ONLY absentee ballots approved well in advance.

No “helpers’ in nursing homes, etc.

Because 28% is “voter suppression” but 166 isn’t. :o

“The reason those ballots were rejected was not specified”

My guess is they all came from the same non-existent address. Or they were submitted by Pepe LePew, Elmer Fudd, Foghorn Leghorn, Daffy Duck and Tom and Jerry.

“Voter (fraud) suppression is alive and well in Texas,” said Wesley Story, spokesman for Progress Texas"

Why yes Wesley, very much so alive and well!

I am absolutely ok with how this sounds, but I don’t live in Texas. Sounds right to me that they check that they submitted a valid ballot.

If you can’t do that, go in person.

And I’m sure that Mr. Story of Progress Texas is in favor of vaccine passports.

Are people who legitimately
need absentee ballots much more likely to vote against Republicans than the general voter?

““Voter suppression is alive and well in Texas,” said Wesley Story, spokesman for Progress Texas...”

Any time you can get a woke leftist screaming and waving his spaghetti arms that “It’s not fair,” you’re doing something right. Good for Texas.

The converse of this, what Demonicrats want, is for any and all ballot applications to be honored, even if the voter is dead.

I think the law should actually go further. Ballots and applications for ballots which aren’t accepted for lack of a critical ID component should flag the purported voter for extra scrutiny in the election. I.e. make sure no one attempts to vote in-person in the interim in that voter’s name.
