Russian President Vladimir Putin will recognize the independence of eastern Ukraine's separatist republics, the Kremlin said in a statement Monday, adding that he had informed the French and German leaders of his decision.
"In the near future, the president plans to sign the order," the Kremlin said. It added that French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz had "expressed disappointment" over the decision in phone calls with Putin.

Imagine if Putin started meddling in the Yellow Vest protests, or DC Statehood, BLM or threw in with Texas in the US Border crisis, imagine if Putin started getting loud about the truckers convoy and sent a few billion to help them organize.
I think they are basically finished placating the western leaders whims and have learned that nothing short of turning over administration of Russia to the WEF will satisfy our leaders.
Or will Biden use it as a pretext to try to remove Putin from power as was attempted in Syria and Assad by tanking the Russian economy? Putin is a thorn in the side of the Great Reset crowd who hate his rebuilding of EO Christianity within Russia with its promotion of Christian sexual ethics. Of course, his nationalistic views are of great disgust to the one world government types who abhor nation states.
It would be the equivalent of Texas or California declaring independence. Don’t think the rest of Ukraine will agree to it.
Believe me, I’m with you. If you look back at all of my posts regarding this, I’ve been saying all along that Putin won’t invade, and this was a charade to give the Biden admin a win.
That being said, if this is Putin’s play — if — it’s something I didn’t see in the cards. Technically, it could be construed as an invasion, since they support those rebels, but it’s a more savvy political move than a straight-up, brute force invasion.

He appears to have truly lost his marbles, which isn’t good because he does have access to an awful lot of nuclear weapons... Does anybody out there have a bunker I can go to?
