Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., called to "destroy the ruble and crush the Russian oil and gas sector" in response to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s aggression in Ukraine.

Graham made the call in a tweet thread posted after Putin's national address in which he recognized the independence of the separatist Donetsk People's Republic and Luhansk People's Republic areas of Ukraine.

"When it comes to thugs like Putin disrupting world order and destroying democracies – enough is enough," Graham wrote.

"Putin’s decision to declare eastern Donetsk and Luhansk as independent regions within Ukraine is both a violation of the Minsk Agreements and a declaration of war against the people of Ukraine," the Republican from South Carolina continued.

That’s the only thing I can figured. Ukraine is a money-laundering funnel for the Democrats.

Just guessing that all of Putin’s money is in dollars or euros. It won’t hurt Putin, but probably will hurt ordinary Russians. Not all Russians are political strongmen.

No, it’s the other way around. And the Russian controlled oligarchs return back to Ukraine, which means even more money for Hunter and Co.

Anything Russia needs and cannot get from the West it can get from China

Like quality tools?

Hey, this might not be a bad strategy after all...

That is not a bad point. BiteMe is going to have to make a choice...

It is true that a massive effort to greatly increase US energy exports as part of a doubling of our production would be a huge boon to our economy. Modest taxing of the exports would easily finance the project.

Seriously, Linda? You want to make it an existential issue for the Russians? What do you think they’ll do?

I have learned that whenever Lindsey Graham expresses public outrage over some kind of geopolitical event far from South Carolina, what he’s really saying is that a major business relationship Boeing has with a foreign customer is being threatened.

You can bank on this one, folks.

This COULD get very ugly. But, best guess is that it will lead to something like Russia’s experience in Afghanistan.

“Something like”. I doubt many Ukrainians are suicidal maniacs. And the terrain is much different. In limited areas, Russian troops will have local support. But, Central and Western Ukraine would be a very big bite for Putin to chew off, and would invite a far stronger response. If even just the East holds, Ukraine has a reasonably sophisticated tech base, and would get weapons and intel support from NATO. Our Sats likely know where every Russian tank is.

Then the question is how Putin would react.

Methinks the Senatress doth protest too much. It’s obvious he’s got a thing for Putin. He’s just trying to get his attention.

For what it’s worth … Back in the 1990s, Ukraine International Airlines was the first state-owned company among the former Soviet republics to buy Boeing aircraft for its fleet.

Let’s crush them while putting on a pretty pink dress. I’m so sick of these Rino’s, particularly Lindsey.
