West Springfield, MA home to the Big E, basically a state fair for all New England states, also hosts plenty of year round events. This dope has spent his first six weeks in office publicly calling for business leaders whose NYC employees have been working from home for the last two years to bring them back to the office. The last report I saw indicated that something like only 30% of the office workers in NYC who started working from home during the pandemic have returned.
It reached the point of pathetic stupidity when the media recently reported on one of those online web meetings with the mayor and a bunch of business leaders. Apparently this goofy mayor was the last one to figure out that most of the people talking to him on his computer screen were sitting in Florida and have no interest in coming back to NYC.
One of them probably felt sorry for him, called him on the phone, and said: “You really are dumber than a bag of bricks. You’re never going to convince anyone to come back to work in NYC while you’re still insisting on keeping those stupid vaccine and mask mandates in force.”
