Yes and they fear if they join NATO nukes will return ...or they publicly state that is a fear

300 miles from Moscow

It’s not an illegitimate question

I think if you went to the utmost fear level, why sure, you’re
right. The problem with that theory is, Latvia gave up nukes
and hasn’t rearmed in a nuclear sense since joining NATO.

Estonia does have nukes either. Both countries border Russia.
Both are in NATO.

I don’t see the E. U. ever attacking a nation like Russia.
It has nukes. It has a fairly good army.

It just wouldn’t happen.

If the Ukraine did signal it was going to rearm with
nuclear weapons, then I think Putin would have a valid
claim to prevent it.

I’d back his play in that eventuality.

Do you have any idea the nuclear threat Moscow continuously rotates into NORTHCOM ?

And significant loitering (sometimes as close as Clinton’s UN 12nm territorial boundary agreement).

I am going to bed, but it would blow your mind, and get me in trouble, if I really went into it.

300 miles... is a joke.

Try 40 to 80nm frequently -
