Someday the sheep will wake up to reality.
I think you are closest to the truth on this issue.
We we’re exposed for over a week to an infected family member and never had any symptoms. We were taking the zinc-quercetin,D and C regiment as a prophylactic measure, 2 years and 3 months now. Traveled via airplane ten times in that period and we’ve not had anything more then the sniffles and one ear infection last November.
This one’s 3 days, I can’t see it mentions dose.
I personally know of four people on death’s door and on ventilators when they got either the hydroxychloriquine or Ivermectin cocktails. All recovered and were discharged within one week.
All the families were told there was nothing else the hospitals could do for them.
There was never a clinical trial for the use of Viagra, but men in the trials of Viagra as a heart medication reported much stronger erections. Since it was proven to be safe, there was no real need for an official clinical trial. It was initially approved for an off-label use.
Yep. Just one three-day treatment of Ivermectin and all over the news without the details of the dosing. Here for example is a commonly recommended protocol for it that has some weekly prophylactic doses and a hefty 5-day treatment for early Covid, depending on patient weight:

Yep, conveniently splashing it all over the media without sufficient details, though the details shared suggest it was an inadequate, that is less than recommended, dosage for early treatment of Covid.
Does the study show the dosage of IVM or if it was administered along with vitamin d and zinc? From my understanding all 3 work together to help with covid.
I took Ivermectin and didn't go to the hospital!
And nobody polled me on the subject.....BECAUSE NOBODY KNEW WHETHER I WAS SICK OR NOT!!!!
Complete horsehockey. Fake news.
Yep
Then they won’t mind me taking the medicine since it’s harmless and doesn’t work.
Of course they don’t mention the dose. Not surprised at all.
So go to the research paper itself, WSJ is just reporting what it says.

We have Ivermectin on hand, monitor temperature accurately everyday, and use care in necessary social settings.
So far, so good.
Placebo affect and false sense of security actually do have benefits.
I can access the preprint study but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to copy it.
The essentials are one one hand it is randomized snd placebo so that is favorable. It administered a three day dose which I think is a little light given the controversy. I would have preferred to see s full 5 day dose
There wasn’t randomization for likely to progress to severe disease. So I think that’s a little weak. But the almost 1400 participants is compelling.
Like I said it isn’t the greatest design I have ever read. I think it’s sufficiently powered to demonstrate if ivermectin were to be a silver bullet. I think the methodology is subject to criticism but it’s the best I when seen so far because it is prospective. McMaster on Ottawa is reputable in terms of ifs researchers and generally produces decent studies.
In my opinion there is room for either side to sink some teeth into. But as I have previously pointed out these are the kinds of results one gets when there is not a compelling conclusion in either direction.
