Sometimes news is newsworthy not because it is particularly revelatory but because it confirms something obvious that lacked confirmation or because it provides something broadly understood with a sense of scale. This certainly applies to the revelation — uncovered by the New York Times’s Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns and reported by CNN’s Brian Stelter — that President Biden views Rupert Murdoch, founder of Fox News, as “the most dangerous man in the world.”
Obvious in broad strokes but now confirmed and with a sense of scale.
But this top-line assessment of the face most associated with the right-wing cable network misses an important secondary assessment included in the Martin-Burns reporting. Fox News, the president feels, is “one of the most destructive forces in the United States,” as the reporters put it. This is the more important revelation as it recognizes the breadth of Fox News’s influence even beyond the elder Murdoch.
There are four elements outside of Murdoch that make Fox News a uniquely damaging part of the American news landscape: its strength on the political right, the demonstrated way in which it shapes its viewers’ beliefs, its grip on Republican power and the views of its leadership.
Fox News has a unique partisan power In December, The Washington Post and University of Maryland conducted a national poll that included an assessment of where people get their news about politics and government. Among Democrats and Democrat-leaning independents, a variety of sources — CNN, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, NPR, the Times, The Post — were identified as a main source of news by at least 3 in 10. Among Republicans, though, only two were: local television and Fox News.

“with a team that included John Solomon, Sarah Carter etc.”
John Solomon has his own 6 pm EST show for 1 hour on Real America’s Voice, same channel as Bannon’s Warroom. The Solomon show is excellent and he frequently breaks news that has not been heard yet.

Put Fox News on the defensive in order to take the spotlight off of the LAAP-dog media.
This is a psyops operation intended to weaken Fox News before the full story on the Biden's comes out.
The LAAP-dog media doesn't want the Fox News version of the Biden Crime Family corruption to be the dominant narrative, so they are attempting to poison the well now.

Yep, what a hoot, funnier than SNL.
The only thing that Ol' ShizzPantz feels is his Huggies filling up every few hours...
Fox News …fair and balanced…not really. Clearly Fox News is slanted if not biased to conservative viewpoints. However, it is a counterbalance to the left, far left and government sponsored propaganda that passes for journalism in all the other major news outlets. So far I have yet to find any more or less middle ground news reporting service where actual unbiased journalism is practiced.
” . . . a variety of sources — CNN, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, NPR, the Times, The Post . . .”
_____________
This has to be the most humorous line in the article. A “variety of sources?” Really? In fact, it is only one source, the DNC, relayed through “various” captive media outlets.
Hilarious how they couch these as diverse…
Aside from Carlson FNC is CNN with red, white and blue chyron and a T&A show. FNC is reading from the same book as the rest of the so-called media, except they are about three chapters behind. Their news division is every bit as embarrassing as CNN’s or PMSNBC’s. The only time I will turn it on is if there is breaking news, otherwise my wife and I don’t watch the news anymore, we read or research online.
Yes, you just posted the exact same thing I did on post #44.
So, what is your comment
It is exactly like every other socialist regime. No one is allowed to question the official socialist narrative.
Sure, Murdoch got FNC to say Biden won Arizona when the results were still unclear. Murdoch made Biden president. That makes Murdoch very dangerous indeed.
“Deplorables won’t eat our sh t!....whaaaa!”
As to my comment...
I laugh when people tell me fox news is conservative. They are as left as they come.
