Sample NJ lesson plan says, 'You might feel like you're a boy even if you have body parts that some people might tell you are 'girl' parts.'
New Jersey public school second graders will be getting a lesson in gender identity this fall under state sex education guidelines that will take effect in September.
According to the standards, New Jersey students should, by the end of second grade, understand the "core ideas" that all "individuals should feel welcome and included regardless of their gender, gender expression or sexual orientation."
Additionally, the standards listed "performance expectations" for second graders, which includes discussing "the range of ways people express their gender and how gender role stereotypes may limit behavior."
Educators in the Garden State are preparing to carry out the teaching standards, which were established in 2020 but not required to be enacted until Sept. 2022.
One school district in the state distributed sample lesson plans indicating first graders could be taught they can have "boy parts" but "feel like" a girl.
The lesson plans, which were given to parents at the Westfield Board of Education's Feb. 22 meeting, appear to be reflective of the Garden State's new, broader sex education curriculum.
One lesson plan, "Purple, Pink and Blue," instructs teachers to talk to their first graders about gender identity, and its first objective is to have the students be able to define "gender, gender identity and gender role stereotypes."
The lesson’s second objective is to have students name "at least two things they’ve been taught about gender role stereotypes and how those things may limit people of all genders."

And yet, we are told there are so many “transgender” children, who are prepubescent children. We are told the children have awareness of being gay and all that. I think that is (expletive deleted) but we have all heard such nonsense.
It’s incredible that the people who run our schools have such twisted mindsets about these sorts of subjects.
My best friend lives in Berkely Heights, NJ. He’s as conservative as they come and BH is fairly conservative but he’s been trying to get out for 20 years. His job requires him to be at the office in NJ. This should push him over the edge. Whoever gets him will be getting a devout Trumpster.
Tax revenue is funding this.

Exactly right! Those concepts are too abstract for children that young to comprehend.
It strikes me that they are the ones who stereotype. What does feel like a girl or feel like a boy even mean at that age? If you’re a boy and like making cookies with your mom, oh you must be a girl inside! If you’re a girl and would rather go fishing with your dad, you must be a boy inside! Just let kids be who they are and do what they enjoy.
The boy who likes making cookies might grow up to have his own bakery. The girl might have her own sporting goods store. Or they might just grow into normal adults who like to bake or to fish.

This is a culture war and we’re all in it. Just leaving this up to parents is a huge mistake...we all see it, it will impact all of us. So we all have a responsibility.
Congress. SCOTUS. And public education.
They outlived their usefulness and now are an absolute burden to America.

Not that Ukraine is a conservative paradise, nor all NATO counties which prevaricating Putin posits are an aggressive threat to to peace-loving Russia, but anyone who supports a power-hungry oppressive dictator to who seeks a reconstituted Soviet Union is choosing the wrong side.

Many girls have gone thru such phases, and it was just part of growing up in the past.
Heck nowadays, these “educators” encounter such girls, they are identifying her as “transgender” and it’s time for hormone shots. Holy (fill in the blank), our society and culture have fallen to some deep depths of depravity.

I guess all those gender studies degrees were useful for something in the real world after all...grooming our children.
