The Russians rely on commercial satellites (which might not be targeted, as precise, or available in real time), the western press, and spies (often commie moles within our system). On the other hand, we have satellite imagery enough to cover the world, often supplemented by airborne radar. We call it the “God’s eye view” of the battle area. Intelligence (”I”) is an important element of the “DIME” (Diplomacy, Intelligence, Military and Economic).
