Except President Trump imposed tougher and more sanctions against Russia then any US President in history, which Dementia Joe mostly reversed until Russia invaded Ukraine.

I, personally, am counting on the possibility that a good portion of the French conservatives, when asked by pollsters where they stand, have responded dismissively or deliberately ambiguously - and that Le Pen thus has much better chances than the surveys indicate.

I know that that's how I would respond. "Vote for Trump? Again? Well... I dunno."

And then crawl over broken glass, if need be, to get to the ballot box.

Le Pen needs a lot more fire leading into this election. Last time, the left was so scared that they had to form a coalition to beat her.

A good example of “fire” would be a major Islamic terror attack, followed by Macron saying something stupid to appease the terrorists. I’m not sure what kind of corruption scandal would irritate the Frog on the street. But whatever, it would have to hit hard and fast.
