The guy to vote for was Steve Forbes back in 1999. W is and was an idiot. Since I live in Texas I knew W was an empty suit. I just think it is ironic that all the GOPe voters are now complaining about all the horrible policies the GOPe implemented. We paleocons warned you about the neocons but y’all would not listen. I admit I was wrong about W. He may have had some sincere beliefs about abortion, but his actions actually harmed the pro-life cause. Forbes might have been better than W, but maybe not much better, who knows.

W just squeaked by in 2004, so assuming Forbes took Texas, we would have President Kerry putting worse people on SCOTUS than Roberts and Alito. I don't like Roberts, but he was better than a Kerry judge would have been.
