Cancel culture has now reached President Abraham Lincoln, the man who wrote the Emancipation Proclamation declaring enslaved people “shall be then, thenceforward, and forever free.” Democrat Rep. Jamie Becker-Finn (DFL-Roseville) complained about Lincoln’s presence on the House floor this week during a debate on an education bill.
“We are asked to serve, we serve in this body, we have to look at President Lincoln every day we are in this space.”

Fun fact. When the Lincoln cent was released in 1909, American blacks hoarded what they called ‘Emancipation money’. Of course there were still many who had suffered under slavery and realized the debt owed to Lincoln.

Hearing stuff like this, makes me realize we are way to soft on dangerous ideologies such as Communists and socialists. I would like to see a state of emergency declared, and individuals such as this Democrat Rep. Jamie Becker-Finn tried as a traitor and seditionist in front of a military tribunal, and a suitable punishment determined, involving a stretched neck. I would support it, and I suspect many Americans would as well. But realistically, the way the communists have infiltrated our institutions in this nations, were this scenario ever to happen, it would be the conservatives who would be on trial in front of military tribunals, and not the communists.
The democrats are still smarting from the emancipation proclamation. What made them more mad? Scalia’s leaked conclusion or Lincoln’s proclamation?

It’s because Lincoln approved the mass execution of Indian prisoners after the 1862 Sioux outbreak. Eventually almost every American historical figure will be targeted for cleansing. There will be replacement with John Brown, Sitting Bull, Nat Turner, Diane Oughten, Emma Goldman, etc.

By the way, BLM, Cancel culture has yet to demand Byrd’s name be removed from anything.
