It turns out that Elon Musk had a good reason to put the Twitter deal on hold: It’s possible that Twitter management may have misrepresented the number of actual accounts it has versus fake/spam accounts. And in another blow to the now-beleaguered social media company, Project Veritas put out another undercover video on Tuesday, this one of an ad executive mocking Musk for supporting free speech and having Asperger’s, along with freely admitting that Twitter doesn’t make any money. Between the one and the other, it’s entirely possible that Twitter will soon collapse from its own weight.
It was a bit of a mystery a few days ago why Elon Musk had put the Twitter deal on hold. It turns out that he’s essentially accusing Twitter of having lied on its SEC filings about fake/spam accounts—and now, of having refused to show him proof justifying the information in the SEC filings:
20% fake/spam accounts, while 4 times what Twitter claims, could be *much* higher.
My offer was based on Twitter’s SEC filings being accurate.
Yesterday, Twitter’s CEO publicly refused to show proof of <5%.
This deal cannot move forward until he does. — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) May 17, 2022
Although Musk tweets this information out rather casually, it’s actually stunning because putting fraudulent information in an SEC filing can result in huge fines and even prison sentences for executives involved. Additionally, if advertisers were buying ads for a fixed price based upon their belief about the potential number of eyes on the ads, they could have a fraud action against the company. What should be making Twitter even more nervous is that, now that Musk put the idea out there, others are noticing anomalies suggesting that a lot of Twitter is fake:

Then, to make Twitter’s Tuesday more miserable, Project Veritas released a video of Alex Martinez, a Twitter Lead Client Partner (i.e., an advertising executive), saying that Twitter is opposed to free speech, that the company makes no profit, and that Elon Musk is “special,” but not in a good way because he has Asperger’s. (One of the things that’s always true is that, when you scratch an ardent, out there leftist, you find someone unkind.)
Martinez, whose favorite word is “like,” which he sprinkles liberally in most sentences, had some fascinating statements to make:
Coincidentally, half of his voters were fake as well.
Things like this used to be a Felony?? Why isn’t Dorsey and the entire Board in the Dock and had their Assets Seized for the FRAUD they have been committing??
I laughed out loud at the latest video. The end where the guy is warning about Veritas while being filmed by Veritas is funny.
I also laughed at the way the honey trapper pronounced Veritas like he had never heard of it.
These honey trappers must be trained by former Intelligence people to be so successful
81 million!!
Is it possible Musk went through a charade to buy the company as a way to expose how fraudulent they really are and destroy Twitter?
For starters, it's fraudulent to file a knowingly false SEC filing.
That thought had occurred to me as well.
Holy smokes this guy is stupid, corporate security said to be quiet and he wasn’t. He made fun of Elon for having Asperger’s but himself couldn’t even pronounce the word “veritas” correctly.
At this point the shareholders of the company should be suing the **** out of the management, they have a fiduciary responsibility. That doesn’t include fraudulently saying that you’re profitable.
Hello Governor DeSantis? Florida is a shareholder!
I had some thoughts about this as well. I heard Devin Nunes say that President Trump met with Elon (or spoke with him) before he bought Twitter, encouraging him to do so. I found that interesting, and then Project Veritas comes out with their revealing clips in a very timely fashion. I wondered how much co-ordination was behind all of this.
It is fraudulent, but will anyone in this administration do anything about it?
wasnt the guy saying veritas the honey trapper? sounded like a different voice
Don’t know if it is fully accurate. I have 3 accounts and only use one.
For the first one I made I clicked follow on everyone and then found that I follow too many people and just made a new one.
For the second one I got a 30-day ban and just made a new one.
The third one is what I am currently using.
I am not 66% bot. It just happens.
Could have been, I can’t tell precisely by the video.
SEC has been alerted.
Could this be the pebble that starts the avalanche that will decimate social media, destroying the Left’s little bubble?
But they count you as 3 users
