I’m guessing the bulk of his training involved school-shooter situations in which nobody was actually shooting.
We need to have an investigation of who is giving these “stand down” orders at all of these school shootings. Somebody seems to like large body counts.
Federally funded school shooter training consists of how to give a press conference and fill out forms to get federal aide to deal with “trauma” afterward.

Uvalde County Sheriff’s Office

Local US Marshals
Nearest FIB Office.
A timeline for each person would be interesting.
Our country really values physical courage.
Many movies are made about physical courage.
The military gives medals for physical courage.
Moral courage is barely noticed.
I think that the Chief might have been scared of bullets, but he was more scared of “what might happen”.
I haven’t read anything about the Chief being in the hallway as part of an assault team.
That means he wasn’t worried about being killed or wounded.
It was not a call on his physical courage.
It was a call on his moral courage.
Moral courage is not valued or rewarded in our country.

My understanding is that the shooter crashed his vehicle outside of the school and entered the building MINUTES after the crash.
LE should have contacted the shooter outside, at the crashed vehicle. How is it that the shooter was allowed to enter the building? This part seems to be ignored by the media.
It’s a stretch, you can have all the training you want but some people can’t handle a real situation no matter what.

If I understand everything correctly, this guy has been elected to the City Council.
I wonder if anyone, at the next City Council meeting, will ask him if he, as a member of the city council, will be investigating the events of that day.
Keep the officers on the gallows, too.
She would have had the keys to all the rooms, she would have sounded the lockdown alarm, and she would have been able to help the cops isolate the shooter and tell the cops the best approaches to the shooter (such as removable ceiling panels to shoot him from above).
