Hello everyone.
I talked to Jim again.
He needs us to pray for a more positive attitude.
I hate to post this, but he started crying. He told me he loved me and I was also his family.
He tried to joke about Schiff, but his heart wasn’t in it.
He asked me to Thank everyone for the prayes and to let you know he loves all of you.
He feels he has let everyone down. I asked why; he told me that FReepers have always supported him and he got sick and can’t be there for all of you.
I told him he needs to get well and get his a$$ back to work.
Not sure when he will get to come home because he needs around the clock care. He said he cannot raise his arms.
Wish this was a more uplifting update. :(
Please continue to pray for his full recovery.

This is heartbreaking news. Thankfully, we all know what to do. Pray. And pray harder.
Yesterday, it was mentioned the family was looking into palliative care. Please, please continue this route. Jim not only needs the best medical care for his body, but also for his spirits. Bring in a priest or a minister or a trusted spiritual friend who can stay and pray.

Dear Good Shepherd, please tend to this sickness in Your pity, give rest and soothe his spirit. Increase his confidence in Your love. In the name and to the glory of Your Son, Jesus, and in the power of Your Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.
Please tell him to be gentle with himself. Our mind is our worst enemy. Yes, we miss him here. But, we care about him more.
I hope he knows how influential his creation has been to American conservative politics over the last 25 years, and takes some pride in the knowledge that his legacy will live on to continue the grass-roots fight against liberal gaslighting.

He is not letting us down, his heart is as true as ever and we know that. I will pray that God will show him that we lift him up and that all he needs to do is get well. He has to believe as hard as we believe that he can beat this thing. With all of us sharing our strength with him, sharing our faith with him, he can not help but get well.
