The most ignorant and woke employees DO NOT set H.R. policy!
Unfortunately it is thru HR that those inclined to be ‘woke’ find their way into a corporation. It seems that those who relish forcing others to do their bidding also seem to be attracted to the ‘woke’ way.
Most HR folks are little tyrants. If you give them a little ‘lip’ or push-back on one of their policies, you may find yourself seeking success in another field.
