The Food and Drug Administration is preparing to order Juul Labs Inc. to take its e-cigarettes off the U.S. market, according to people familiar with the matter.
The FDA could announce its decision as early as Wednesday, the people said. The marketing denial order would follow a nearly two-year review of data presented by the vaping company, which sought authorization for its tobacco- and menthol-flavored products to stay on the U.S. market.

The company that produces Juul should just come out and say it prevents COVID. The FDA will be all over that one -- and will even run TV and radio ads to tell people to start using them.
We will tell you what you can market and how much to charge, who to hire and how much to pay them.

‘Election ritual’. Well put. Election after election the government just keeps getting bigger and more overbearing. Both parties are dedicated to that.
The present regime and its enablers have taken government power to a whole new level. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if they wanted to ban all petroleum products.
As the old saying goes...power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. We are living that reality right now.
