BERLIN (Reuters) - Germany triggered the "alarm stage" of its emergency gas plan on Thursday in response to falling Russian supplies but stopped short of allowing utilities to pass on soaring energy costs to customers in Europe's largest economy.

"We must not fool ourselves: The cut in gas supplies is an economic attack on us by (Russian President Vladimir) Putin," Economy Minister Robert Habeck said

Sounds like they’re having trouble getting their coal plants started up - or finding any place that has coal to sell them.

Oh, bummer for them.

VIDEO: Trump went to the UN and called out countries for relying on Russian oil (and energy)

The German delegation was caught on camera laughing at him for saying it

Amusing. The German leftist/globalists send German artillery and munitions to Ukraine to kill Russians and then they whine when Russia sends its natural gas to other buyers.

I keep saying GERMANY will let Nord 2 flow before this is over.

The problem is...Ukraine won't get the fees it usually gets for gas going through it's lines.

“We must not fool ourselves: The cut in gas supplies is an economic attack on us by (Russian President Vladimir) Putin,” honked the gander. The nerve of that Putin for noticing the NATO/Germany declared world economic war on Russia. A war that the Russians are kicking NATO’s ass in.

Another loss for George Washington Zelensky…

This stupidity needs to end. Russia is keeping the Far East of Ukraine.
It’s done.
Sanctions hurt the west, not Russia.

G7 to discuss gas turbine needed by Germany, blocked in Canada by sanctions

The G7 is likely to discuss the fate of a Russian turbine blocked in Canada and blamed for reducing gas supplies to Germany, though the bloc may not reach a solution by the end of the meeting, Canada’s Natural Resources Minister said on Wednesday (22 June).

“If you talk to the Germans, they are very, very concerned about” a decline in gas supplies allegedly caused by the missing turbine, Jonathan Wilkinson told Reuters. “I’m sure it’ll come up at least in the corridors of the G7 … I wouldn’t hold my breath that we’re going to find a resolution before the end.”

Playing victim is what the "green" coalition has left up its political sleeve. One recalls that Ursula von der Leyen, now heading the EU Commission, was the defense chief under Angela Merkel when Germany had to enact war games with broomsticks to mimic rifles.

The "efeminization" of European politics -- and especially German -- has been temporarily in ascendancy. Now that reality must be dealt with, these European female leaders and their effeminate counterparts are stuck trying to be tough while soft.

Just as the Atlee government chased out Churchill after WWII with dire "socialist" consequences for Britain in that time, the current "Green-Red" coalition had no idea that sanctioning someone would lead to someone sanctioning them back. This is the stuff of children. Unfair when two play at the same game! Mommy, he hit me -- back!

Now back to unicorns and reruns of Princess Bride....

Interesting graph, I’m surprised the gas delivery was slowed to that extent.

More than that! Biden is the real culprit in the current dilemma of the world. Biden funded Russia’s attack on the Ukraine by shutting down the American Oil System and giving the European market to the Russians. Biden alone and only alone is responsible for the War in Ukraine. Obozo and Soros provided the money to the Dems for the project.
