Republican Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson said Friday that he would not be backing former President Donald Trump if he runs for the White House again over his false election fraud claims and behavior on January 6.
He also said he would not sign legislation banning women from traveling to other states to get an abortion, but said he supports Arkansas' trigger law preventing most terminations which came into effect after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
'I would not be supporting him (Trump) for 2024. He acted irresponsibly, during that time he was a risk to the nation, absolutely,' Hutchinson said on CBS Mornings. 'Yes, that was a threat to our democracy, that was a threat to our institutions of government, that's not the behavior we want to see in a responsible president,' he also said.

But, as a principled conservative, I don’t see how you can legislate away the freedom of travel within our country’s border for any reason...even if I don’t like the reason.

The way the headline is written it makes it sound like Trump is against the legislation and that this is one of the reasons why the governor won’t support him.
