Older kid graduated with honors from a state university and wanted to be a history teacher. She got a peek behind the curtain while in the credential program and bolted as fast as she could. Our education system is rotten to the core.

Best thing we ever did was leave the public school system. Daughter has much less anxiety, not sexualized/gender-confused at 13, and actually wants to do the school work instead of making excuses not to.

In addition, some districts will offer harsher punishments for white students who break the rules than non-white students as part of “culturally responsive discipline” (one rebranded form of critical race theory) This is an important part. School administrators will be under tremendous pressure to NOT have black discipline rates be higher than white rates. That means that, in schools with mixed populations, they will have to let ferals run wild, but suspend and expel white kids for any infraction, or even for attempting to defend themselves from attack.
If you are a parent, and have kids in schools with significant mixed demographics, be prepared to pull your kid out, rather than have him be sacrificed on the altar of "racial equity".

way way way overdue for major public school reforms. Other than securing and protecting our nation it should be a top priority, of course especially at the state levels, but with guidance and support from a conservative President.
