Ted Cruz Takes Apart State Department's Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Over Shocking Hiring Email

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was in fine form on Tuesday. As we noted earlier, he got in a sweet dunk at Whoopi Goldberg and Hunter Biden.

But he also raised an incredibly significant issue during the questioning of a witness from the Biden State Department.

While he was asking about the State Department, it’s a question that likely needs to be asked across the Biden Administration — because the Biden Administration is likely trying to staff radicals across the departments.

Cruz was questioning State Dept Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley. She was appointed in April 2021, and he asked her what she did in instituting an “equity action plan.”

"Sen. Ted Cruz quotes Office Space to State Dept Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer after revealing email that admits State Dept discrimination against people who have a disability, are white men, straight white men, or not of the right religion: “What would you say you do here?""

After she had instituted that, Cruz noted, a senior official wrote an email raising questions about what was coming up now in the hiring practices — people raising questions about not being able to hire candidates if they have a disability, are white men, are straight white men, or they are not of the “right” religion.

Maybe they can not hire a highly qualified candidate because of their race so they can hire a less qualified candidate because of their race?

OK, so Cruz can be kind of pointy-headed, but when he’s cross examining a witness, he’s good.

Funny, not aggressive, but devastating.

they could survey the hiring over the time period and see how it breaks down.

King of the Never Trumpers.

I'm making up that there are strong and long standing whispers regarding Cruz, McCain and an aging Buddy Hackett.

What was the concern of the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ)? That the email’s writer had not been identified. That’s called a whistleblower, Senator. How much do you want to bet that rather than addressing the problem being raised here, they go after the person who wrote the email?

More smoke and mirrors and deflection by a corrupt administration...But, that's what you get with a mail order President.

Unless these “witnesses” don’t commit perjury, and maybe not even for that, they know they can’t be touched. I guess Cruz and Kennedy et al are doing something but it is without effect. It is all just show and everybody knows it or should know it.

Congress is toothless without exercising power of the purse and eliminating funding. Their advise and consent is secondary and hardly effective unless they simply refuse to approve and they can’t do that either.

Uncle joe owns this nation lock stock and barrel head. chuck you and nutty nancy are his rubber stampers, the department of just us and the fbi his enforcers.

King of the Never Trumpers... despite frimly, emphatically and unreservedly endorsing Trump despite Trump attacking his wife and despite Trump’s associated accusing his father of killing JFK.

If ever the Senate takes on the Hunter Biden mess, I hope Cruz is in charge.

Agreed. Unfortunately, it never translates into any meaningful action. And that’s a problem.
